Test Centre Unterluess – EZU

Rheinmetall Defence's Unterluess location features an extensive proving ground (50-square-kilometre). It is the largest private testing and proving facility in Germany. Here, on behalf of the German and international customers, Rheinmetall Waffe Munition conducts comprehensive trials of systems and components, as well as defence technology testing during all phases of product development.

Its core activities include determining technical characteristics, performance limits, functionality, and reliability as well as verifying maintenance and operational safety. The centre offers a range of state-of-the-art equipment and artillery positions.
