Rheinmetall Robotics L

To support dismounted forces, Rheinmetall relies on a four-legged walking robot that can follow soldiers on foot even in difficult terrain and take over tasks within the group. Equipped with modular payloads, it can be deployed in a variety of tactical scenarios and helps to protect soldiers.

LUNA Drone System

The LUNA drone system for unmanned aerial reconnaissance is a sophisticated solution for real-time surveillance, detection and tracking in real time. It offers a flight time of 6 hours (optionally 8), a range of > 100 km - and has proven its worth in a number of peacekeeping missions, e.g. in Kosovo and Afghanistan. The drone can be launched by catapult in almost any terrain, offers numerous payload options, and is a cost-effective, reliable choice for both military and civilian applications.

Laser Aiming Devices – Laser Light Modules

Designed for rifles and pistols, the laser light modules use various light sources for detecting and marking targets. At twilight or under conditions of complete darkness, soldiers equipped with night vision goggles can use infrared near-field radiance to illuminate their surroundings and targets. The infrared target laser can also mark targets at long ranges. The laser target marking devices facilitate firing without aiming – i.e. shooting from the hip. The laser light modules feature a special adapter and can thus be easily mounted without tools.

Vingtaqs II - The Supreme Target Acquisition System

The Vingtaqs system is to be used for accurately determining target coordinates at long range distance from the vehicle's forward observer position or static positions. Vingtaqs also accommodates instrumentation to laser designate targets in the role of Joint Tactical Air Controller (JTAC). The Vingtaqs is a stand-alone system that for low cost can be integrated in a wide range of vehicles or various static positions.

Multi Sensor Unit for short range air defence

The Oerlikon Multi Sensor Unit (MSU) S is the next generation sensor unit for ground based air defence. It can be installed on a wide range of platforms and is equally suited for stationary or rapid deployment missions. The fully automated and unmanned MSU S is remotely controlled from the Skynex control node or from a third party Battle Management System. The non-rotating and software defined 3D AESA Multi Mission Radar (AMMR) enables superior awareness and mission flexibility. A high robustness is achieved even in the most trying electronic warfare environment. To support the identification of Friend or Foe (IFF), an optional interrogator with non-rotating electronically scanning antenna can be integrated. Once a target is detected, the electro-optical tracker is used to automatically identify and classify the threat.

Mortar Weapon System 120 Ragnarok

Mortars have an important part to play in countering the terrorist threat to forward operating bases and convoys in hazardous areas of operation. Owing to improvements in range, precision and lethality, modern mortars enable troops deployed in counterinsurgency operations to engage targets successfully even in difficult terrain and built-up areas.

The latest development from Rheinmetall in the mortar system segment, the 120mm RAGNAROK, brings simplicity and technology together in perfect harmony. The RAGNAROK provides a high degree of customer possible adaptations thanks to its flexible design.
