Armoured Infantry Fighting Vehicles

In fast-paced modern military operations, armies need infantry fighting vehicles which guarantee a high degree of crew protection, are equipped with automatic cannon powerful enough to meet the threat, can carry a section of infantrymen able to mount and dismount quickly, and also feature an antitank capability. In addition, to ensure interoperability with main battle tanks, IFVs have to be able to manoeuvre in all types of terrain.
