The GTK Boxer armoured transport vehicle is the product of a bi-national consortium in which Rheinmetall Landsysteme is participating. The Boxer is an ultramodern, highly mobile wheeled vehicle whose modular design enables numerous mission-specific versions. The Boxer family of vehicles consists of a uniform drive module and a variety of user-specific mission modules. This airportable vehicle can be deployed in many capacities: it can carry a section of infantrymen, serve as a field ambulance or tactical repair vehicle, or take on transport, combat engineer or communications tasks. Thanks to its protection concept, the Boxer provides its occupants with a high degree of protection from antitank mines and medium-calibre fire.
