Right from the start of its 125-year-plus history, Rheinmetall has always been a trusted partner of the artillery corps. To this day, the pressing and drawing technique for seamless barrels developed by Rheinmetall founder Heinrich Ehrhardt is still used in modern guns.
Rheinmetall supplied the technology for a maritime simulation centre of AIDA Cruises - Germany’s most successful cruise line. By the end of 2013, more than 200 captains and nautical officers had undergone maritime training there.
Combat engineers have the task of enhancing the mobility and survivability of friendly forces, while simultaneously hemming in and channelizing the enemy. In order to perform their multifaceted mission, combat engineers need versatile, flexibly deployable equipment.
